Margaret Milefchik, age 81, of Moline, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 at her residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3205-60th Street, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary at 3:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the church.

Margaret was born April 18, 1932 in North Dakota, the daughter of Hans and Margaret (O'Shea) Dale. She married Eugene G. Milefchik on August 13, 1951 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pocahontas, IA. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2004.

Margaret was employed as the manager of Candles & Stuff, owned by Kirlin's, at the Southpark Mall. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. Margaret enjoyed crafting, baking, sewing, knitting, quilting, and crocheting. She was a member of the quilting club at Christ the King. Margaret also enjoyed playing bingo at The Vikings and meeting for breakfast with the retirees from the Arsenal. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
