Margaret "Maggie" Holmquist

March 14, 1947 — November 26, 2022

Margaret “Maggie” Holmquist, 75, of Moline, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Memorial services will be held at 11am on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd, 6601 38th Ave Moline, IL, 61265.  Visitation will be an hour prior at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Arrowhead Ranch, Alleman Catholic High School, or Riverdale Elementary Library.

Maggie was born on March 14, 1947, in Moline, the daughter of Harry and VeBina (Sands) Knupp. She married William Holmquist on April 1, 1967, at Sacred Heart in Moline. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and especially spending time with her grandchildren and grand dogs.

Survivors include her husband, William; children, Eric (Kerri) Holmquist, Jennifer (Brian) Gray; grandchildren, Kylie and Robyn Holmquist; sisters, Katherine (Mike) Meneley and Cecilia (Alan) Hart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
