Marian C. Meyer, 85, of Silvis, died November 5, 2006 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Thursday, November 9, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Illini Restorative Care Center.
Marian was born December 13, 1920 in Winside, NE to Walter and Sophia Christofferson Davis. She married John Henry Meyer on June 8, 1939 in Madison, NE. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2002.
Marian was a receptionist at Eagle Food warehouse, Milan retiring on July 16, 1982.
Marian enjoyed camping and traveling in her motor home. She also enjoyed NASCAR racing, crocheting and spending time with her dog Oscar. She was a member of Good Sam & Family Motor Coach RV Clubs, Old Timers Racing Association and the ladies retiree group of Eagles.
Marian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Family was always a top priority in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson, sister Edna Wagner, and two brothers Earl and Clarence Davis.
