Marianne Bozzer, 83, of Colona, IL, died Friday, August 12, 2016, at Unity Point Health – Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 201 1st Street, Colona, IL.  There will be a Recitation of the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. with a visitation to follow from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL.  Burial will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal.  Memorials may be made to The Jim and Trudy Maloof St. Jude Midwest Affiliate Clinic or to Wounded Warrior Project.

Marianne was born on July 14, 1933, in Coal City, IL, the daughter of Anton J. and Mary Zacjek Vilt.  She married Vincent E. Bozzer on January 23, 1953, in Coal City.  Marianne was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Colona.  She was an excellent quilter and especially enjoyed flower gardening

Survivors include her husband, Vincent Bozzer, Colona, IL; children, Erich (Susie) Bozzer, Detroit, MI, Lad (Brenda) Bozzer, Geneseo, IL, and Therese (Bill) Mueller, Colona, IL; grandchildren, Emily, Brian, Alex, Henry, Madeline, Sam, and Elizabeth; sisters, Dorris Clark, MN, and Betty Livsey, AZ; brother, Bob (Marcienne) Vilt, RI; sisters-in-law, Ruth Vilt, Coal City, IL, and Marianne Vilt, Chicago, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers, Tony, Jerry, and Don Vilt.
