Maril R. Woolley, 74, of Edgington, died Friday afternoon, October 14, 2011 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 3:00-6:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at Edgington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Edgington Presbyterian Church.
Maril was born July 25, 1937 in Richland, IA, the daughter of Elnor and Doris E. Johnson Ingle. She married Wayne E. Woolley on August 19, 1955 in Clinton. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1991.
Maril was a caring nurses's aide and joyfully dedicated bus driver at Rockridge. She was a very active member of Edgington Presbyterian Church. Maril was a Cub Scout and brownie leader in her early years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, traveling and taking day trips. Maril owned a ceramics shop, and was an inspired writer. She always took care of anyone and everyone in need.
