Marilyn June Daniel, age 74, of East Moline, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Entombment is at Greenview Memorials Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Sycamore Baptist Church, East Moline.
Marilyn was born June 30, 1935 in Sterling, IL, the daughter of Reeves and Lucille (Scott) Sampson. She married Jordan Daniel on March 28, 1953 in Sterling.
Marilyn enjoyed working as a secretary at both Sycamore Baptist Church and Sycamore Christian School. She also loved to play golf, do counted cross stitch, and travel, especially to Florida.
