Marilyn Beth DeVrieze, 76, of Rock Island, IL, died Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Unity Point Health - Trinity Rock Island, Rock Island, IL.
Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Marilyn was born on August 7, 1937, in Racine, WI, the daughter of Andrew and Dulcy Elizabeth "Betty" (Perso) Fjellbo. As a young girl, she moved to Rock Island, IL. She married Frank Wayne DeVrieze on December 19, 1953, in Rock Island. They were married for 54 years until his passing in 2007. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She also enjoyed Bingo.
