Marilyn J. Lindblad

Marilyn J. Lindblad, 91, of Clearwater, FL, passed away February 7, 2019.

Memorial Services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2019, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Memorial visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Inurnment will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760, or to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Arden Courts of Palm Harbor, 2895 Tampa Rd., Palm Harbor, FL 34685.  Arden Court will donate memorials at the 2019 “Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk”.

Marilyn was born on March 4, 1927, in Moline, the daughter of Elsworth and Minnie C. (Anderson) Francis.  She married Robert A. Lindblad on August 29, 1948, in Moline.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moline, Countryside Baptist Church, Clearwater, and Northwood Presbyterian Church, Clearwater.  She enjoyed sharing time with family, reading, preparing beautiful dinners, and baking special desserts and cookies, all filled with love.

Survivors include her son, Ralph D. (Kathy) Lindblad, Tarpon Springs, FL; granddaughter, Jessica F. Watts, Oldsmar, FL; great grandson, Matthew R. Watts, Oldsmar; step-grandson, Nicholas A. Lilland, Tarpon Springs, FL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2001.
