Marion Lucille Elfrieda Swanson, 92, formerly of Orion, died Thursday, May 05, 2011 at Good Samaritan, Geneseo.
Funeral service will be 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 14, 2011 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1001 9th Street, Orion. Visitation will be held half hour prior to the service at the church. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements. Burial will be held in the Lutheran Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion.
Marion was born on May 10, 1918 in Orion to Otto Emil and Emily Marie Isaacson Swanson.
Marion was a self employed piano teacher in the Orion area. While living in Orion Marion was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Orion and a member of the Clover Circle of the church. Marion was active with the Friendly Stitcher's at the church as well as senior citizen activities.
