Marjorie A. Baker, 82, of Donahue, IA, died Monday, June 29, 2015, at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, 4700 53rd Street, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at the church. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Davenport Memorial Park following the services at church. Memorials may be made to the family.

Marjorie was born on May 3, 1933, in Milan, IL, the daughter of Carl A. and M. Helen Sievers Kraklow. She married Alan J. Baker on August 16, 1952, in Taylor Ridge, and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2015. She worked as an accountant for King's Food.

Marjorie was a graduate of Reynolds High School. She was a dealer of Tupperware, Amway, and Miracle Maid. She was very active in her former churches. She was also a Sunday school teacher and a member of Mary Martha Guild at Trinity Lutheran Church in Coal Valley. Later, she was the director of Awana Club and worked as a secretary at Faith Evangelical Free Church in Moline. More than anything, Marjorie enjoyed helping other people and loved her family.

Survivors include her children, Gary (Cheryl) Baker, Moline, IL, Pamela Baker, Rapids City, IL, Melody (Frank) Anderson, Donahue, IA, and Dori Smith, Moline, IL; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; brothers, Daniel (Melanie) Kraklow, Muscatine, IA, Duane (Bette) Kraklow, Moline, IL, and Allan (Barbra) Kraklow, Toulon, IL; sister, Darlene Schmidt, San Marcos, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; 2 brothers, 1 sister, and 2 grandchildren.
