Marjorie Olivia Carlson, age 82 of Swedona died Saturday, June 24, 2006 in her home after battling ill health for the last two years.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at Swedona Lutheran Church. Visitation is from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301-4th Street, Orion. Burial is in Swedona Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
Marge was born on September 29, 1923 in Swedona, the daughter of Ethel and Stanley Larson. She graduated from Sherrard High School and married Russell Carlson on December 15, 1945 in Andover.
Marge was a member of the Swedona Lutheran Church and WELCA. Marge was dedicated to her family and friends. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, flea markets , yard sales, and spending time with her grandchildren.
