Marjorie Clemens, 82 of Moline died June 17, 2005 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
Marjorie was born February 22, 1923 in Moulton, IA to Glenn and Celia (Riggs) Mason. She married Marion E. Clemens on March 30, 1941 in Unionsville, MO. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1987.
Marjorie earned her associates degree from Black Hawk College. She was employed as a Stenographer in Inside Shipping on March 1, 1954 for John Deere Planter Works. In 1955 she accepted the postition of Secretary, Personnel and Industrial Relations Dept. where later she was promoted to Industrial Relations Represenative in 1972. In 1974 she became a supervisor, one of first female supervisors in John Deere's history. She also had worked with the Facility Expansion Task Force. She retired on April 30, 1982 after working over 32 years for John Deere.
Marjorie was an avid bridge player where she participated in many local and regional tournaments. She also enjoyed playing golf.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Clarice Sullivan and a brother Paul Mason.
