Marjorie L. Leuntjens, 85, of East Moline died October 10, 2006 at Pathway Hospice at Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.
Rite of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Visitation will be Friday from 4-7 p.m with a wake service at 6:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Burial will be Monday at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity Terrace Park Pathway Hospice.
Marjorie was born July 13, 1921 in Moline to George and Hazel (Carlson) Rexroad. She married Armand Forest in 1936, they divorced in 1945. She later married Oscar Leuntjens in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1984.
Marjorie worked for Moline Telephone Company, Montgomery Wards, and in the JC Penny Catalog Dept. She retired in 1990 from the Rock Island Arsenal after 25 years as a telephone operator.
Marjorie loved playing bingo and cards. When she moved to Ridgewood Towers she acquired many friends through her love of bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her family and spending time with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Jerry Forest, two sons-in-law Tony Fackeldey and Dick Cullen, 5 grandchildren and a special friend Ron Daxon.
