Marjorie Tobin, age 86 of Moline died January 20, 2006 at Oak Glen Nursing Home, Coal Valley.
A memorial service will be Wednesday, January 25, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church, Moline. Rev. George Loveland will officate. Memorials may be made to Bethel Wesley UMC Women's Priscilla Circle or your charity of choice.
Marjorie Grace was born on March 8, 1919 in Moline the daughter of George Sullivan and Nellie Kronholm Sullivan. She married Harold Tobin in 1941.
Marjorie worked in accounts payable at the Deere & Company Administrative Center for 25 years retiring in 1982. She was a lifetime member of Bethel Wesley United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of the Isabelle Charles Davis Circle of Kings Daughters. She lived in Puerto Rice during the war and was also a teacher in a one room school house.
Survivors include her son and his spouse David and Nora Lee Tobin of Moline and daughter Mary Jo Edwards of Moline; 3 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Milton Sullivan and James Sullivan.
