Marlene J. Fackeldey

Marlene J. Fackeldey, age 68, of Moline, died Saturday, August, 16, 2008 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2008 at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is from 5 - 7 p.m. on Thursday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Marlene was born April 22, 1940 in Moline, the daughter of Armond and Marjorie (Rexroade) Forest. She married Richard L. Cullen in 1958. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1968 during the Vietnam War. She later married Anthony "Tony" J. Fackeldey on December 15, 1968 in East Moline. He preceded her in death on April 13, 2006.
Marlene was employed as an assembler/material handler for John Deere, Moline and also worked in field maintenance for South Park Mall until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of the Svithiod Club of Moline. Marlene enjoyed camping at Shady Lakes, fishing and playing bingo.
