Marlene Y. Keleher

Marlene Y. Keleher, 87, formerly of Orion, passed away March 5, 2025, at Avonlea Cottage, Milan.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday March 15, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church, Coal Valley. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Western Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Esterdahl Mortuary, Orion, is assisting the family.

Marlene was born on January 15, 1938, in Moline, the daughter of Willard and Monterey (Jones) Ristau. She married James Mack Keleher on June 12, 1955, in Coal Valley. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2012. Marlene was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Coal Valley.

Survivors include her daughters, Kay (Larry) Manecke, Kim (David) Sievers, Kelly (Dale) Harmon, Kathy (Randy) Heiar; grandchildren, Scott (Clare) Manecke, Brian (Sarah) Manecke, Megan Manecke, Kyle (Shannon) Harmon, Alyssa (Andrew) Raya, Abigail (Joseph) Zimmerman, Camille (Jacob) Simpson, Todd Sievers, & Shea (Graham) Hartoonian;13 great grandchildren; sister, Carole Taube, Coal Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
