Marquetta M. Strom, age 76 of Moline, died Friday, October 26, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center, West Campus, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline Visitation will be 2;00-5:00 p.m.. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island..
Marquetta was born September 11, 1931 in Schulyer Co., IL the daughter of Wayne and Flossie (Cox) Douglas. She married Roger P. Strom on March 12, 1949 in Moline. He preceded her in death on June 1, 2007.
Marquetta loved to sew and do crafts. She was the caregiver to both sides of her family. Marquetta enjoyed working in her vegetable garden. She loved her cats and dogs, but most of all she loved her family.
