Martha L. Jackson, 80, of Moline, died February 15, 2009 at Trinity Pathway Hospice, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to RICCA and Friends of the Children (of Haiti).
Martha was born March 3, 1928 in Moline to James C. and Grace M. (Murphy) McCartney. She married Eugene A. Jackson on December 11, 1948 in Moline. He preceded her in death on March 29, 1986.
Martha worked for John Deere Mallable as a payroll clerk. She then worked as a supervisor in the typing pool at Rock Island Arsenal. She retired in 1959.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, Moline and briefly a resident at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
She is survived by

James W. (Lori) Jackson Thompsonville, IL
David E. (Andrea) Jackson Atkins, IA
Daughter Lisa J. (Bill) Payden Moline
9 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren

many nephews and a niece
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
