Martha Jo Pearce, age 79, of Moline, died Monday, June 9, 2008 at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Riverview Free Will Baptist Church, 820-18th Street, Bettendorf. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
Martha was born November 5, 1928 in Guin, AL, the daughter of William Henry and Lucy Mim (Erwin) Weeks. She married Durell Pearce on May 1, 1946 in Brilliant, AL
Martha was the branch manager of State Bank of East Moline (currently The National Bank) for 25 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of Riverview Free Will Baptist Church, Bettendorf. Martha was also a member of the Ostomy Support Group. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and quilting. Martha loved her family.
