Marvel Mae Burton, 86 of Moline died September 8, 2006 at her home.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Marvel was born January 28, 1920 in Moline to Harry and Alice (Kurtz) Johnson. She married Wesley A. Burton on January 25, 1947 in Moline. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1997.
Marvel worked at Schlegel Drug Store. During WWII she was a cafeteria worker at the Rock Island Arsenal.
Marvel enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and reading.
