Mary Anderson

Mary E. Anderson, 70, of Orion, died Saturday, October 19, 2019, at her home with her family around her.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services.  Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate.

Mary Elizabeth was born on February 14, 1949, in Moline, the daughter of Claude N. Wisdom, Jr. and Virginia Lee Ruth Anderson.  She married Phillip W. Anderson, Sr. on May 31, 1969, in Moline, and together they had 3 children, Amber, Christine, and Phillip, Jr.

Mary attended Moline Missionary Church in Moline and was a member of Rock Island Eagles Auxiliary 956 in Rock Island.  Mary loved The Lord, her husband, and each and every member of her family.  She enjoyed photography, especially family photos, quilting and her red knock out roses.

Survivors include her husband, Phil; children, Amber (Matt) Serres, Christine (Greg) Welter, and Phillip (Jodi) Anderson; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a brother, Michael Wisdom.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rochelle Sprouse; and brother David W. Wisdom.
