Mary Arnold

Mary Arnold, 85, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at her home.

Per Mary’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

Mary was born on September 29, 1933, in Mankato, KS, the daughter of John E. and Eva Mae (Ashworth) Holmes.  She retired as a nurse from the State of Colorado in 1997, after 17 years.

Mary enjoyed reading and her trips to the salon.  She loved her cat, Bandit, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Nadine (Dan) Kroll, and Norman Arnold; grandchildren, April (Chad) Parker and their children Grace and Lucy; Daniel (Megan) Kroll and their daughter, Charlotte; and Kindra Kroll and her children Kade and Mara.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky L. Arnold.
