Mary E. Barber, 92 of Knoxville, IL and formerly of Moline, died April 21, 2007 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Knoxville, IL.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 25th at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline.
Mary was born on March 11, 1915 in Batavia, Iowa the daughter of William and Bertha Stansberry Heston. She married Kenneth D. Barber on November 30, 1931 in Chicago. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1980.
Mary was a homemaker and also President of the Senior's Club in Spring Valley. She was also a former member of the East End Club.
Survivors include her son and his wife Richard and Gail Barber of Reynolds and daughters Betty Boutelle of Moline and Susan Pugh of Winfield, Alabama, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, and one brother and spouse Ernest and Margritte Heston of Hartford City, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
