Mary E. Becker, 97, of Moline, died Monday, April 25, 2011at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 29, 2011 at Faith Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Moline.
Mary was born on February 14, 1914 in Macomb to George and Edna Woods Garland. She married Harold W. Becker on March 21, 1936 in Moline. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1986.
Mary was a nurses aid for the former Moline Public Hospital. She was an active charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, Moline. She was also a member of the Moline Vikings Club. She enjoyed quilting with the women at church and bowling in leagues.
