Mary Ellen Thomas, 86, of East Moline, died December 1, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2009 at Rock Island National Cemetery with a visitation from 10-11a.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline.
Mary Ellen was born August 9, 1923 in Clarksburg, WV to Clinton and Cecil (Dixon) Jones.
Mary met her husband while she was working the coat check at the Plantation Club. She married William Thomas on April 30, 1947 in Davenport. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She is survived by

Meegan and Dane Shiltz Bettendorf
