Mary G. Hellebuyck, 93, of Moline died Saturday June 19, 2004 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
According to Mary's wishes a private family service will be held, with no visitation. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to Hope United Church of Christ, Moline. Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. is handling the arrangements.
Mary was born January 7, 1911 in Moline the daughter of Matthew and Margaret Evans. She married Frank C. Hellebuyck on December 16, 1937 in Moline. He preceded her in death on December 2, 1957.
Mary was a 1929 graduate of Moline High School. She later attended Brown's Business College. She was employed at DeSaulner's for 9 years before her marriage. After her husband's death, she worked for John Deere Harvester, East Moline, retiring in 1974.
Mary loved flowers. She also enjoyed sewing and baking. She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ, Moline. She was involved in the Esther Circle at the church and also on the visitation committee. She was also a member of the John Deere Retiree's.
