Mary Ann Long, 90, of St. Augustine, FL, formerly of Orion, IL, died Friday, January 04, 2013, in St. Augustine, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Mary, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 1402 10th Street, Orion, IL. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow at Western Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or to Western Township Cemetery. Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., Orion, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary Ann was born on December 22, 1922, in Orion, IL, the daughter of John A. and Martha M. (Pobanz) Long. She graduated from Orion High School in 1940. In 1943 at the age of 20 she worked for the State Bank of Orion, now Bank Orion, in her words "hanging around" for 55 years, retiring in 1998 as Vice President. She was a member of Mary, Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society of the Church.
