Mary K. McLain, age 62, of Moline, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m.Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with an additional visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial is at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to the family.
Mary was born April 20, 1949 in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Francis and Bertha Schmidt Basten. She married Kenton McLain on September 7, 1991 in Rock Island.
Mary loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren, and son Kenny Joe. She was very giving and cared about so many people in her life. Mary enjoyed playing bingo at many different places around the Quad Cities. She loved history, and listening to books on tape. Mary also enjoyed eating out at many different restaurants.
