Mary Agatha Hunter-Peal, 94 of Moline died July 18, 2005 at her residence.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. a wake service at 4:00. Rite of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline with family prayers at the funeral home at 9:30. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Rev. Donald Levitt will be officiating.
Mary was born February 4, 1911 in DePue, IL to Frank and Mary Koplenk Penca. She married James Hunter in Muscatine, IA, he preceded her in death in 1977. She later married Herbert Peal in Moline, he preceded her in death in 1990.
Mary worked for 26 years at Carlson's Laundry as a sorter and then for 27 years as a Procurement Clerk for the Rock Island Arsenal retiring in 1973.
Mary was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline. She was a member of Lodge 59 SNPJ, AARP and NARFE. She was a former member of Moline Women's Club. She enjoyed knitting, reading, doing crossword puzzles and anything to do with the Kennedy family.
