Mary L. Peterson, age 87 of Moline died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church, Moline.
Mary was born January 23, 1919 in Burlington, IA the daughter of Charles and Matilda (Baumann) Davis. She married Larry R. Peterson on May 14, 1944 in Storm Lake, IA. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1989.
Mary was employed as a teacher and substitute teacher in various school districts in the area. She was a graduate of Iowa State Teachers's College. Mary was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Mary Martha Circle of the church. She was a past member of the King's Daughters, and the D.A.R. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
