Mary E. Powers, 91, of Rock Island, died February 4, 2007 at Silver Cross Nursing Center, Rock Island.
Services will be private. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is handling arrangements.
Mary was born October 21, 1915 in Lanark, IL to Walter and Effiee Spicker Tenley. She married George W. Bance in 1933 in Savanna, IL. He preceded her in death on December 4, 1956. She later married Charles Powers in 1967 in Clinton, IA.. He preceded her in death in September of 1999.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters two brothers and two daughters-in-law Marcella Bance and Virginia Bance.
