Mary Vera Roby, 89, a resident of Fort Armstrong, Rock Island died August 28, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park.
Mary was born March 2, 1919 to Mr. and Mrs. Wigant. She married Harold Otto Roby on May 7, 1938 in Iowa City. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1985.
Mary worked in student food service at Augustana College. She also attended CASI.
