Mary Ruth Robinson

Mary Ruth Robinson, age 74, of East Moline passed away on November 18, 2010 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus in Silvis, Illinois from complications of Hepatic Disease.
Visitation will be held on November 21st from 2:00-5:00 p.m.at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd.
6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Funeral services will be held at Homewood Evangelical Free Church in Moline at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 22nd. Interment will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the church.
Mary Ruth was born on August 5, 1936 in Rock Island, Illinois to Sam and Ruth (Gross) Segura. Mary's siblings included Fred, Ron, and Theresa Segura. Mary was a graduate of Alleman High School class of 1954. Mary was married to Earl Q. Robinson on November 17, 1956 in Rock Island, Illinois. Mary was a former employee of United Medical Center and a life long Quad City resident. Mary was an active, creative woman who enjoyed dancing in her younger years, bowling, stamping and eating out with friends and loved ones. Mary Robinson was a longtime active member of Homewood Evangelical Free Church in Moline. Her friends will tell you she had a caring, loving and giving spirit.
Mary is survived by son Richard, of Park Forest, Il, daughter Crystal and Reverend Ronald May, of East Moline, IL and son Steven and Rebecca Robinson of Clarksville, AR; grandchildren Andy May (Queens, NY), Ben Robinson (Grayslake, IL), Travis Robinson (Fayetteville, AR), Alicia Robinson (Fayetteville, AR) and Laura Robinson (Tinley Park, IL), her sister Theresa Segura (East Moline) and niece Melinda Ellis (Phenix City, AL).
Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers, and her youngest son Paul.
