Mary L. Sedam 80, of Moline passed away September 8, 2010 at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be Monday, September 13th at noon at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd,
6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 11:00 until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Mary was born on August 30, 1930 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Walter and Francis Sandifer Springer. She married Lawrence O. Sedam on June 14, 1953 in Rock Island. He died September 24, 1982 in Moline.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Moline. She loved watching baseball, both the Cubs and the Cardinals. She had over 8000 sets of salt & pepper shakers from around the world. She loved her dog Reggie and watching old movies.
Survivors include her children Terry (Dawn) Coleman of Rock Island, Jim Sedam of Fairbury, IL, Tina (Jeff) Snyder of Rock Island and Bryan (Fran) Sedam of Moline; sister Beverly Davis of Rock Island and grandchildren Shane (Katie) Sedam, Ryan Sedam, Erin Sedam, Todd Sedam, Mindy Brandt, Bobby Phillips, Jamie & Josh Snyder, Bryan (Lynn) Sedam, Jr., Marybeth (Nick) Bambauer, and Rebecca (Milburn) McShane; 14 great-grandchildren and her special friend Vickie Noble.
She was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Jr., daughter-in-law April Sedam and her great-granddaughter Zoey Sedam.
