Mary A. Fleming Swanson

Mary A. Fleming Swanson, age 83, of Silvis, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Per her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2013 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial of cremains will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Mary was born September 5, 1929 in Moline, the daughter of Henry F. and Effie M. (Noyd) Fleming. She married Donald D. Swanson on June 25, 1950 in Geneseo. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1974.
Mary was employed at Ryan's Steak House in Moline as a salad bar and preparation person. She was an avid traveler, Cubs fan and enjoyed watching TV. Mary especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
