Mary L. Taylor, 92, of Moline, IL, died Monday, June 15, 2015, at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be at National Cemetery at the Rock Island Arsenal.
Mary was born on September 25, 1922, in Coal Valley, IL, the daughter of Earl and Sadie Nelson Kepple. She married Max C. Taylor on February 24, 1946, in Coal Valley.
Mary enjoyed cooking and baking. She was famous for her angel food cakes.
Survivors include her loving husband, Max; children, Gary (Mary) Taylor, East Moline, IL, Cheryl (Don) Ackerland, East Moline, IL, and Jeff Taylor, Colona, IL; grandchildren, Amy (Greg) Longoria, Tempe, AZ, Sarah (Ryan) Hall, Tempe, AZ, Michael (Rachel) Taylor, Dekalb, IL, and Laura Taylor, East Moline, IL; great grandchild, Dorian Taylor, East Moline, IL; 2 sisters, Hazel Taylor, East Moline, IL, and Rhoda Runyon, Moline, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
