Melbourne "Glenn" Martin

Melbourne G. "Glenn" Martin, 84, of Moline, died January 18, 2010 at Parkview Health and Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Glenn was born January 2, 1926 in Carlisle, Arkansas to James D. and Jennie M. (Smith) Martin. He married Elizabeth A. Lund Congdon on June 17, 1955 in Moline.
Glenn was a carman for 23 years for the Rock Island Lines Railroad. He later worked in machine maintenance at the Rock Island Arsenal and retired in 1991 after 14 years of service. He received a superior performance rating from the Rock Island Arsenal.
Glenn was a WWII Army veteran. He was a member of CornerStone Christian Fellowship, Moline.
