Melinda S. Hawk, 56, of Moline, died Monday, May 31, 2010 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38 Ave., Moline. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Melinda was born January 11, 1954 in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of Lloyd and Kathryn (Murray) Connelly. She married Rodney Hawk on February 4, 1978 in Moline.
With the people she worked with, Melinda was often thought of as "Mom", where she was employed as a secretary. She enjoyed crafts including ceramics, scrapbooking and also liked to crochet. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, bowling tournaments and going to Jumer's Casino.
