Michael E Bowser

Michael E. Bowser, 65, of Moline, died Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity, Rock Island.

Visitation will be from 10–11 a.m., Friday, March 2, 2018, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601 38th Ave., Moline.  Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline.

Michael was born on October 2, 1952, in Rock Island, the son of Robert E. and Beverly J. (Rosenbaum) Bowser.  Michael was a veteran, proudly serving his country in the United States Army in Germany and Korea for over 12 years.  He continued in government service, working as a police officer at the Rock Island Arsenal, and later at the metropolitan airport, retiring in 2010.  During his career, he received numerous awards, medals, and recognition for his service.  He was also a member of the American Legion of Bloomington, IL.

Survivors include several brothers, a sister, and a number of nieces and nephews, with a great love for Mikhael, Lena, and Sean, along with many other family members and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and children.
