Michael Robert DeVolder, 59 of Moline, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the V.A. Medical Center, Knoxville, Iowa.
Visitation will be held at the Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. on Monday, March 24, 2008 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Graveside services will follow at the National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. Robert E. Lee will officiate and the American Legion post #246 will conduct military rites. Memorials may be made to the family.
Michael was born on January 7, 1949 in Moline, to Robert & Dorothy Stem DeVolder.
Michael was a long time self employed roofing contractor retiring in 2002.
He was an avid boat and motorcycle enthusiast and was very proud to have served our country in Vietnam. He loved spending time with his friends and family especially his 12 great nieces and nephews.
