Michael L. Fisher, 59, of Silvis, IL, died Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2016, at Christ United Methodist Church, 3801 7th Street, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016, at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded following the services and burial of cremains will be at Herrin City Cemetery in Herrin, IL, at a later date. A memorial fund has been set up for Michael Lee Fisher at IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Michael was born on October 12, 1956, in Du Quoin, IL, the son of John L. and Doris Irene Mason Fisher. He was a member of Silvis United Methodist Church and worked in computer programing for John Deere. Michael enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved the Cardinals. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Andrea (Michael) Rascher, Davenport, IA, Kristen (Aaron) Welborn, Orion, IL, Beth Fisher, Davenport, IA, Amy Fisher, East Moline, IL, and Chase Fisher, Silvis, IL; mother, Doris Fisher, Marion, IL; 7 grandchildren; sister, Janet Sparks, Marion, IL; brother, Alan Fisher, Marietta, GA.

He was preceded in death by his father, sister, Barbara, and granddaughter, Brianna.
