Michael Dean " Mike" Quidort, age 67 of Moline died Sunday, December 3, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 11:00 Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline with visitation one hour prior to service.
Burial is in National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #246 and the U.S. Army.
Mike was born October 20, 1939 in Breckenridge, MI the son of Macolm and Phoebe (Pickett) Quidort. He married Judith Bashline on January 9, 1960 in Broomfield, CO.
Mike was employed as an equipment management specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal for 12 years retiring in 2000. During his 24 year U.S. Army career, Mike was awarded numerous commendations and medals, including the Bronze Star. He was a Vietnam War veteran. Mike was a member of New Life Fellowship Assembly of God Church, Moline. His love of music was a joy and inspiration to his family and friends.
