Morris A. Rudolph, age 80, of Moline, died Friday, June 20, 2008 at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to his Grandchildren's Fund.
Morris was born May 31, 1928 in Paducah, KY, the son of Arley A. and Girlene (Holt) Rudolph. He married Florence Quick on October 16, 1949 in Moline.
Morris was employed as a manager at Woolworth's. He later was employed as an Incloser in the shipping department at Alcoa for 26 years, retiring in 1979. Morris received an Associates Degree in accounting from Black Hawk College. He was an army veteran of the Korean War, stationed in France. Morris was a member of Union Congregational UCC, where he did a lot of outdoor maintenance. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and doing the family genealogy.
