Myron L. Mc Cunn, 78, of Orion, died May 10, 2010 at Trinity Moline.
Funeral service will be held on 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 14, 2010 at Orion United Methodist Church, 407 12th Avenue, Orion. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Kirk, Huggins, & Esterdahl Funeral Home, 1301 4th Street, Orion. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by Orion American Legion Post #255. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Orion United Methodist Church.
Myron was born on October 10, 1931 in Page County, Iowa to John Herschel and Greta Abbott Mc Cunn. He married Diane Turner on August 13, 1960 in Elliott, Iowa.
Myron was an Army Veteran. He was employed as a Design Engineer for John Deere & Company for 34 years, retiring March 1, 1993. He was a member of the Board of Directors of BankOrion and was active with the Orion Athletic Booster Club and Orion Education Foundation. He was an active member of Orion United Methodist Church.
