Myrtle D. Walker, age 80, of Rock Island, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Rock Island Memorial Park.
Myrtle was born May 30, 1930 in Coal Valley, the daughter of Earl and Sadie Nelson Kepple. She married Robert Glen Walker, Sr. on September 2, 1960. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1990.
Myrtle was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Moline. She enjoyed going on many vacations, and loved to read. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
