Nancy L. Bell, 91, of Moline, IL, died Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. with a visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service on Monday, November 13, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.
Nancy was born on December 26, 1925, in Monticello, KY, the daughter of Robert T. and Etter Crabtree Woody. She married Finly Ross Bell, Sr. on May 28, 1946, in Jamestown, KY, and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2002. She worked as a cook for the former Lutheran Hospital for 15 years.
Nancy was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include her children, Finley R. Bell, Jr., Moline, IL, Al M. (Tammie) Bell, Rock Island, IL, Vanessa K. (Don) Collier, Moline, IL, Shelia G. (John) Mathews, Moline, IL, Stephen A. Bell, Moline, IL, Stephanie A. (Victor) Frank, Moline, IL; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 sisters; brother, great grandson.
