Nancy A. Lowery (Rhoadarmer)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy A. Lowery (Rhoadarmer), a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, on May 1, 2024, in Rock Island, IL. Born on August 26, 1937, Nancy was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many through her passion for auctions and flea markets, along with her love for her family.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Dennis Taylor and his wife Lupita Taylor of Bloomington, IL, and Dean Lowery of Coal Valley, IL; her daughter, Kathleen Hawkins of Davenport, IA; her grandchildren, Danielle Grindstaff (Hawkins) and her husband Nick of Tennessee, and Mary Beth Bumgardner (Lowery) and her husband Adam of Arlington, WA; and her great-grandchildren, Isaiah Lowery and Noah Bumgardner of Arlington, WA, and Daniel, Dylan and Scarlett Jo Grindstaff of Tennessee.

In addition to her family and friends, Nancy leaves behind a legacy of kindness, warmth, and a love for life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, including her dear friends Bill Winterlin and his partner Diane of Davenport, IA, who were always there for her with unwavering support and friendship.

In accordance with her wishes, Nancy was cremated. As we mourn the loss of Nancy, let us remember the vibrant and loving person she was and the memories we shared with her. May she find eternal peace reunited with her husband, Carol D. Lowery, and may her spirit continue to inspire us to live life with passion and kindness.
