Naomi Irene Torrens

Naomi Irene Torrens, 90, of Peoria, IL, passed away, December 16, 2023, at Allure of Quad Cities.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Park Lawn Cemetery. Interment will be at Park Lawn Cemetery in Barry, IL.  Memorials may be made to the family and/or the Alzheimer’s Association. 

Naomi was born on July 14, 1933, in Barry, IL, the daughter of Harvey Inman and Berdella Graham. She worked as a nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association in Peoria, IL. Naomi married Charles Eddingfield in 1954 in Barry, IL, later marrying Arthur Grebner in 1977 in Peoria, IL, she then married Kenneth Torrens in 2011 in Ozarks, MO. Naomi enjoyed gardening, cooking, and she loved antiques. She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Peoria.

Survivors include her children Brenda McMillan and Darrel Eddingfield; grandchildren Wes McMillan, Anna Doupe, Seth McMillan, and Luke McMillan; as well as many stepchildren and several great-grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Berdella; grandchild John McMillan; and brothers Delbert and Bob Inman.
