Nathan E. Farrand, 30, of Moline, died unexpectedly September 1, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 7, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in National Cemetery Rock Island Arsenal with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246. Memorials may be made to his family for a fund to be established.
Nathan was born December 6, 1978 in Davenport to Terrence "Terry" and Anita (Benavidez) Farrand. He married Breeanne N. Allen on December 20, 2008 in Rock Island.
Nathan was an assembler at John Deere and currently was working in the office. He was a Gulf War Navy veteran.
Nathan was an active member of Calvary of the Quad Cities and Rock Island County Conservation Club. Nathan was a loving family man, a loyal husband, the proudest daddy, and devoted child of God. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was quick to smile, quick to laugh and quick to comfort those around him. He helped everybody no matter his time constraints, others always came first. He will be greatly missed by so many who loved him so deeply.
