Nefra A Muñoz

Nefra A. Muñoz, 82, of Moline, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at her home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Vida Nueva Church at 335 5th Ave, Moline. Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2017, from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd., Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family.
Nefra was born on August 27, 1935 in Lebu, Chile, the daughter of Alberto and Manuela Parra Huenteo. She married Manuel Muñoz March 26, 1955. She worked at various nursing homes. Nefra was proud to be a ministers wife, she was an avid member of the Hispanic Methodist Church and enjoyed using her skills as a seamstress.
Survivors include her children Jaime Muñoz, Indiana, Patricia (Raul) Zepeda, Moline, Luis (Dawn) Muñoz, Indiana, Daniel (Estela) Muñoz, Rock Island, Esteban (Norma) Muñoz, Rock Island, Rebeca Garcia, Moline, Moises Muñoz, and Carla Cabrera, Green Bay, WI, 12 grandchildren. 5 great grandchildren, and 4 sisters.
Nefra was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and daughter.
